Good news for all of you movie buffs out there anticipating new releases! The Bollywood films are all designed to take the digital path rather than in theatres.

Bollywood movies releasing on OTT platforms

1. Shakuntala Devi

The biographical movie star of Vidya Balan was salted for an 8 May release. Still, unfortunately, with it all under lockdown, the movie is now being released worldwide in Amazon Prime Video web series India from May to August. This film is dear to many as we grew up with reading about Shakuntala Devi, the great mathematician, or better known to the rest of the world as “The Human-Computer.” The movie also featured Jisshu Malhotra, Sanya Malhotra, and Amit Sadh.

2. Gulabo Sitabo

Mr. Bachchan is always a treat on the screen, and every Big B fan (like me) eagerly awaits the release of Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo and Ek Priceless Jodi. Ayushmann Khurrana, another remarkable actor, has performed brilliantly over the years, alongside Mr. Bachchan! This film is about a quirky family and will be screened at the Amazon Prime Video on 12 June.

3. Ghoomketu

This upcoming Hindi film is about a longing writer who tries to make it big in the Indian film industry, led by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ragini Khanna, and Anurag Kashyap. The comedy-drama is published on Zee5 only. Ghoomketu is one of the first movies to be released on OTT platforms on 22 May.

4. Laxmi Bomb

Muni 2: Kanchana, Laxmi Bomb is the leading remake of the South Indian Film and stars the powerhouse actor Akshay Kumar. Akshay Kumar depicts the role of a man with the transgender’s ghost. This will become a firecracker if the first glimpse of a film passes by! They speak with Disney + Hotstar, and the makers hope the film is ready to be digitally released before June to ensure that the film reaches a broad audience.

5. Ludo

Everything in Ludo is set for you by the Dangal girls. The ensemble of Abhishek Bachhan, Rajkumar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi are the stars of the Anurag Basu ensemble cast. Just as you have four houses in Ludo, there are four storylines in the film, which will ultimately converge! Reports show that Amazon Prime Video startup stories have acquired the rights to the cinema to release it on its web site.

6. Jhund

The founding of NGO Slum Soccer is based on the life of Vijay Barse. This will be the third film of Mr. Bachchan in 2020. Mr. B is undoubtedly on a roll. Big B will seek out the role of a professional football jobs in India who motivates street children to create a soccer team. The filming was started in 2018 and now tastes the sweet success of Amazon Prime Video. It will stream. So let’s kick it out, sports buffs?
